Privacy policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Information we collect
ATL Wave TV, a Jean Alon Media publication, receives information you choose to provide through our contact form, such as your name, email address, subject and message. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is submitted to Mailchimp so we can send the updates you request and manage subscription preferences.
Like most websites, our hosting and security services may process basic technical information, such as browser and device details, approximate location, pages requested and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. When analytics is enabled, we may use analytics tools to understand aggregate site usage and improve the visitor experience.
How we use and share information
We use submitted information to respond to messages, provide the newsletter you requested, maintain site security and operate or improve ATL Wave TV. We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the site and the services you choose, including Mailchimp for newsletter subscriptions and our website hosting and form-delivery providers.
Those providers process information under their own privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the site, our users or our rights.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential site functions, security, remembering preferences and, when enabled, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
As of the date above, ATL Wave TV does not display Google AdSense ads. If we add advertising, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. We will update this policy when advertising is introduced and use a consent mechanism where required by applicable law.
Users can manage Google's personalized advertising settings at Google Ads Settings. Users may also opt out of some third-party vendors' personalized advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
When serving personalized ads to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google requires publishers to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. We will configure an appropriate consent management platform before serving those ads in those regions.
Third-party content and links
Articles may link to third-party websites or include content hosted by services such as YouTube, Instagram or Facebook. Those services may collect information or set cookies when you visit or interact with their content. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Retention and your choices
We keep contact messages only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records or meet legal obligations. Newsletter subscription information is managed by Mailchimp and retained according to your subscription status and Mailchimp's terms. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, subject to applicable law.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
